What's new

What changed in JasperX for the people who use it, one section per release. What changed in each controller version is on the controller’s own What’s new. In the app, What’s new in the account menu opens this page.

  • Jasper answers questions about JasperX from its docs and links the page.
  • The account menu has a What’s new item, with a dot until you open the newest release.
  • When a controller update is available, its Software card shows what is in it and links to What’s new.
  • The mode menu now says that only Jasper’s changes to what already runs wait for approval.
  • Messages now say transfer the programme, matching the Transfer to button.
  • A Viewer now sees a controller’s software version and whether it is up to date.
  • Connectors shows whether each type is installed on the controller and installs it, and switching on one that isn’t installed says so.
  • Jasper reads the JasperX docs and the pricing page to answer how JasperX works and what each plan includes, and ends with a link to the page.
  • Jasper writes a programme rule you dictate straight away, and asks before a change would break one.
  • When you add a controller you choose its programme: a new one, or one the project already has.
  • A programme’s Specs view lists its rules: editors add, change and remove them, and viewers read them.
  • Add a controller now installs controller version 3.
  • The Add a controller dialog now says why a code was refused, or that its controller joined.
  • The sign-off card lists each address a script will send to once you approve, and a script test sends nothing before then.
