Sharing and access
Every person belongs to one organisation, and what they can do on a project or programme is set by one of four access levels: Manager, Editor, Viewer or Operator.
Organisation roles
Section titled “Organisation roles”An organisation has two roles, Admin and Member. Admins run the organisation: they invite people, set each person’s role, choose whether new projects start Open or Restricted and look after billing. Being an Admin is not access to the content: an Admin sees the organisation’s projects by name, with who holds what, and can appoint a Manager.
Access levels
Section titled “Access levels”- Manager: everything an Editor can do, plus Share, where levels are changed and a project is made Open or Restricted. A Manager also parks a controller or removes it from the organisation (Remove from organisation), and moves, archives or deletes things. Whoever creates a project or programme is its first Manager.
- Editor: builds. Changes tags, scripts and connectors, saves revisions, applies changes to a controller, sets up notifications and uses remote access.
- Viewer: sees the project, its controllers, live values and trends, opens programmes read-only (“View only”) and asks Jasper.
- Operator: sees the programme’s card and the notes its Editor wrote for operators, and asks Jasper. No tag tree, scripts, connectors or revisions. See Operators.
Open and restricted projects
Section titled “Open and restricted projects”On an Open project everyone in the organisation has a level (Editor unless a Manager changes it), and people named in Share have their own. A Restricted project is seen only by the people named in it.
Chats are private
Section titled “Chats are private”Your chats with Jasper are yours alone, on shared programmes too: others see your changes, not your conversations.
Sharing outside your organisation
Section titled “Sharing outside your organisation”A Manager opens Share and adds anyone by email. Someone with a JasperX account gets access at once; anyone else gets an invitation link. What others share with you is under Shared with me. Sharing gives access only: it never shares the sharer’s active controllers or AI allowance, and each person’s use of Jasper draws on their own organisation’s allowance.
On the Free plan an organisation shares at Viewer or Operator only, and Editor access shared with a Free organisation works as Viewer. What each plan includes: https://jasperx.com.au/pricing/
